We are in search of an Assistant Trust Officer to add value to our team in the Financial Services industry, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 53204, United States. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Assistant Trust Officer, you will be instrumental in supporting trust administration, managing compliance functions, and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key point of contact for client distribution inquiries, ensuring a prompt and effective response.
• Oversee the setup of new trust accounts, which includes drafting letters, preparing welcome packets for customers, and handling initial trust distributions.
• Assist with the preparation of court accountings under the guidance of a Trust Officer.
• Compile Trust Committee reports and minutes.
• Manage client-related documentation for account terminations, personal caregiver applications, and other related tasks.
• Support Senior Trust Officers in maintaining existing relationships with clients.
• Oversee the administration of a complex portfolio of personal trust accounts, which may include supporting the administration of pooled trusts.
• Supervise the work of Trust Administrators as part of managing assigned compliance functions.
• Maintain client files through regular filing and updating.
• Assist Trust Officers with the distribution of trust tax returns.
• Provide coverage for Trust Officers as required.• Minimum of 5 years experience in the financial services industry
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Banner Ads
• Proficient in using Cisco Webex Meetings for virtual communication
• Experience with Concur for expense management
• Proficient in using CRM systems for customer relationship management
• Familiarity with About Time for effective time management
• Experience in budget processes within the financial services industry
• Strong calendar management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in organizing and managing conference calls
• In-depth knowledge of the banking industry
