As a General Carpenter at MW Curated Homes Inc., you will be an integral part of our construction team, assisting with various tasks on our residential construction sites. You will work under the direction of experienced tradespeople and site supervisors, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Site cleanup and preparation, including moving materials, removing debris, and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Assisting skilled tradespeople (e.g. plumbers, electricians, drywallers, painters) with their tasks.
• Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively (training provided as needed).
• Loading and unloading materials. 
• Assisting with concrete forming and pouring.
• Demolition work.
• Tiling, drywall experience, fine carpentry, a definite bonus.
• Following all safety protocols and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing would be an asset

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years framing experience required.
• Must be knowledgable on reading blueprints.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are an asset.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices is an asset.
