As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects are completed on time and within budget while upholding the highest quality standards. GET TO KNOW THE ROLE

Schedule: This is a full-time estimation position based in Houston, Austin, or Fort Worth, TX. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime and occasional Saturday shifts. Flexibility for remote work may be considered upon approval.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans and documentation to determine the scope of work and necessary materials.
• Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various projects.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and strengthen relationships.
• Monitor ongoing projects to identify and implement cost-saving measures and resolve potential issues.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and stay informed about industry trends and best practices.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• 2+ years of field experience as an HVAC installer
• Proven estimator experience in construction or a similar industry
• Strong proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail with an ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong math skills, an analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and excellent time management skills
• Team spirit with great communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with QuoteSoft or Fabrication ESTmep software
• Knowledge of HVAC installation and fabrication
