Role Description: We are looking for an experienced
Project Estimator to join our growing team. As a full-time estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, evaluating costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and scope. This is a
hybrid/remote position that requires a combination of office work and site visits, depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary data for accurate estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to review estimates and project requirements.
Track and adjust estimates as projects progress to stay within budget.
Monitor market trends and ensure estimates are competitive yet realistic.
Assist with bid preparation, change orders, and contract negotiations.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations, particularly for specialized remediation projects.
Qualifications: Proficient in construction cost estimating techniques and software.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate estimates under tight deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
Previous experience with asbestos, lead, and mold remediation projects is a plus.
Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar is a plus.
Preferred Skills: Experience with estimating software like Procore, Xactimate, Buildertrend, or similar tools.
Background in construction project management or familiarity with the construction lifecycle.
