Associate’s degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Join the USWDSS program as a Integration and Test Technician, where you’ll combine your technical expertise with hands-on skills to integrate, test, and troubleshoot complex systems that support critical defense missions. What You’ll Do: Support the integration and testing of hardware and software systems in complex environments. Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues involving software compatibility, hardware performance, and networking. Conduct hands-on configuration, setup, and maintenance of system components, including servers, virtualization platforms, and network devices. Perform system diagnostics, calibration, and alignment to ensure operational readiness. Execute and document tests to verify system performance, reliability, and compliance with requirements. Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts, system configurations, and integration workflows. What You Bring: Solid experience with system integration, including troubleshooting hardware/software interactions. Hands-on proficiency with Linux, networking (VLANs, basic routing), and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Red Hat). Familiarity with scripting and automation tools, such as Bash and Ansible, to streamline tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in resolving complex technical issues. Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics and technical documentation. Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and document findings. Preferred Skills: Experience with Red Hat High Availability tools (e.g., Pacemaker, PCS, DRBD). Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Familiarity with monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or Sensu Go. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. USD $30.70 - USD $33.58 /Hr.
