Lead Street Light Technician / Journeyman Electrician + Lineman

Edison Electric LLC is seeking to hire skilled Lighting Technicians in the Knoxville area. The ideal candidate would be (a) a lead electrical journeyman or (b) a lineman with line truck experience possessing a "B" class CDL. Ideally, a candidate would also be highly organized with the ability to prioritize dispatched work orders. Must be willing to work with limited supervision

Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple locations to provide a safe, clean, and well-maintained work environment.
Maintain good relationships with employees, managers, and customers.
Troubleshoot, install successfully complete work orders requests from the local foreman and General Manager.

Regularly and proactively inspect assigned the lights for preventative measures
Make repairs document as necessary, even when not on dispatch sheet
Work on pole lights

Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret documents, prints, schematics including but not limited to safety procedures and laws, operating instructions, safety and procedure manuals, and dispatched work orders.
Strong communication skills
Ability to solve practical problems in a variety of situations
Will need to have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check
Must possess a Class B CDL License (or higher). Successful candidates will be required to have experience in operating a line truck/derrick digger and to demonstrate related skills
