Job Description

Previous experience in a boarding school environment is helpful but not required..

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Teaching four sections of Math (may consist of: Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry, Precalculus, Statistics, Calculus, and Advanced Math); 
  • Leading two seasons of athletics/afternoon activities (may include:
    • Nordic Skiing, Basketball, Snowboarding, Alpine Skiing, Crew, Lacrosse, Tennis)
  • Collaborating with the math department and other colleagues to create a dynamic student-centered curriculum
  • Co-lead a January Term course
  • Participation in residential life and advising

There is also an opportunity in this position to develop interdisciplinary courses.
