Overview:

Lead the attention of specific business units regarding supply requirements and strategic management of specialized categories, guaranteeing alignment with the unit's strategic plans. Additionally, you must apply a global perspective to implement strategies that optimize the purchasing process, generate cost savings throughout the organization and consolidate global supply strategies to serve the company's various target markets.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure execution of sourcing strategy and activities for assigned business units, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and anticipating changing business needs. Including product launches, reformulations and packaging changes.
• Lead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for global categories as well as proactively manage the negotiation process and relationships with key suppliers, establishing strategic alliances that promote innovation, continuous improvement and the creation of mutual value.
• Monitor and optimize the complete supply cycle, from identifying needs to contract management and monitoring supplier performance, ensuring efficiency, transparency and regulatory compliance; Through the relationship of the transversal supply structure with the businesses under its charge.
• Proactively identify and manage risks associated with supply, implementing mitigation strategies that ensure business continuity and minimize the impact of possible disruptions.
• Represent the company before government entities and other external stakeholders, promoting a positive image of the organization and ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with supply policies and procedures, guaranteeing efficiency, transparency and regulatory compliance in all operations.
• Continuously monitor and analyze the global supplier market, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing innovative sourcing strategies that generate sustainable competitive advantages.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the supply team, promoting the adoption of new technologies, methodologies and best practices.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in the field of global sourcing by participating in conferences, seminars and other continuing education activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost savings initiatives and process improvements.
• Be accountable for compliance with performance indicators (KPIs) and close gaps in service levels

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or a related field
• Understanding of purchasing processes and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
• Extensive experience in global purchasing and sourcing, preferably in multinational companies.
• In-depth knowledge of purchasing processes, related technologies and industry best practices.
• Solid academic background in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or related fields.
• Experience in managing multifunctional teams and negotiating complex contracts at an international level.
• Proficient in English and, preferably, other languages ??relevant to the company's global operations.

Pay Range:
USD $120,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr. Pollo Campero
