Job Title : Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer
Location : Brooklyn, NY, 11203

Schedule :

• Hours per Week : 40
• Days per Week : Monday to Friday
• Shift : 8-hour shifts

Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic procedures following established protocols.
• Position patients appropriately and adjust equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain radiation protection standards for patients and staff.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal function.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in line with regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide coordinated patient care.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow protocols precisely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Educational Requirements

• Must hold a valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
• BLS certification is preferred.

Certifications and Licenses

• Required : Radiologic Technologist License (NYSDOH)
• Preferred : BLS (Basic Life Support)
