Who are we looking for?

You're an ambitious Sales Intern with strong communication and organizational skills—and you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be part of our Talent Acquisition division, to support lead generation and outreach efforts that align with client priorities and goals. We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable conducting cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and social media, as well as setting appointments and managing communication pipelines. What will you be doing?

Prospect Outreach

  • Conduct targeted outreach to potential clients and partners through phone, email, LinkedIn, and social media platforms.
  • Build and maintain a database of prospective leads and manage ongoing communication with them.
  • Personalize outreach messaging to align with client priorities and organizational goals.
  • Close sales on a 1-call close when applicable

Appointment Setting

  • Schedule appointments and meetings between prospective clients and the sales team.
  • Effectively manage and coordinate schedules to optimize sales team productivity.
  • Track and document client interactions and feedback to refine outreach strategies.

Administrative Support

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining sales documentation and CRM tools.
  • Perform research to identify new leads and potential opportunities within the eyecare industry.
  • Provide regular updates to the sales and account services teams on outreach progress and outcomes.

What are the required qualifications?

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms, including Google Suite,, LinkedIn, and CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a desire to learn and grow in a sales environment.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and strategies.

Top candidates will also have…

  • Previous experience in cold outreach or appointment setting.
  • Familiarity with sales software, such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of the eyecare industry or healthcare marketing.
  • Experience working in a remote-first or distributed team environment.

Where are we?

CovalentCreative is a distributed organization whose team members primarily work remotely. 

Employment open to residents of CA, CO, CT, FL, IL, KS, KY, MN, MO, NC, NJ, OH, PA, RI, SC, TX, and UT.

Must be available to work M-F with flexible hours between 9-5 EST. Up to 29 hours per week.

Salary: From $15/hour depending on experience and location
