• *Job Title:** Senior Accountant
• *Location:** Meridian, ID (Hybrid)
• *Salary Range:** $65,000 - $80,000 per year

CV Resources is partnering with a mission-driven non-profit organization in Meridian, ID, to find a **Senior Accountant** who is passionate about making a difference. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to play a key role in the organization’s financial operations, with a focus on payroll administration (Paycom experience preferred) and other accounting functions.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• **Payroll Administration:** Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to ensure efficient and accurate processing.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and non-profit accounting standards.
• Support the preparation of materials for annual audits and work closely with external auditors.
• Maintain accurate records of restricted and unrestricted funds.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• *What You Bring to the Role:**
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Payroll processing experience required; familiarity with Paycom strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and non-profit accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
