Overview: Our client, one of Boston's longest tenured private asset managers, is looking for a motivated Senior Data Engineer to join their Enterprise Data team to develop and support critical data processing and warehousing applications. Responsibilities: Designing and implementing Python and SQL solutions. Proficiency with data collection, data wrangling, visualizations, and ETL. Migrating existing systems to the cloud. Implementing best practices in data modeling and access patterns for cost-efficiency and high performance. Maintaining an Azure Synapse Enterprise Data Warehouse. Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in programming with SQL and Python. Experience and/or passion for working in financial services. Familiarity with enterprise applications. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Value Added (but not required): Experience with Azure data platforms (Synapse, SQL Database, Data Factory and Data Lake).
