Job Description

Requirements:

8+ years of hands-on experience with VMware and Windows Server administration.

Strong expertise in installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere environments.

Proficiency with Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) deployment, administration, and troubleshooting.

Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.

Understanding of virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX.

Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting for automation.

Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Windows and VMware environments.

Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions in virtualized environments.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex infrastructure issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage VMware vSphere environments.

Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers across physical and virtual infrastructures.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patch management and updates for VMware and Windows systems.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.

Implement disaster recovery solutions and ensure regular backups.

Collaborate with IT teams to design scalable and secure virtual environments.

Provide support for virtualization-related issues and resolve complex infrastructure problems.

Automate tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools to streamline operations.

Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for both VMware and Windows environments.

Ensure security best practices are followed and provide guidance on system upgrades.
