Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job Summary The Aircraft Appearance Supervisor oversees and coordinates aircraft cleaning activities, ensuring both quality and efficiency while managing staff. Key responsibilities include hiring, coaching, and disciplining employees, and training them to meet company standards. This role involves budget management, staffing, and facilitating communication with Airport Board officials and customers. The supervisor ensures compliance with safety, security, and quality standards, including adherence to TSA regulations and audit requirements, while implementing a site-specific security plan. Respectful interaction with employees, customers, and vendors is essential, and the supervisor must ensure staff visibility of company IDs. Responsibilities may vary based on operational needs.Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate cleaning activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Coach, train, and discipline cleaning staff as needed.
  • Ensure work meets company standards for cleanliness, safety, and security.
  • Oversee inventory related to cleaning operations.
  • Assess and fulfill staffing needs based on workload.
  • Ensure adherence to TSA regulations, company security protocols, and audit requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between Airport Board officials, customers, and company representatives.
  • Implement site-specific security plans and monitor employee compliance with safety standards.
  • Monitor employee performance to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Foster a respectful work environment and ensure staff display visible company IDs.Minimum Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to work weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays, and days off.Preferred Skills
  • Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.
  • Ability to handle stress. Work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods during shifts.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching to clean hard-to-reach areas in aircraft cabins.
  • Capability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies, often weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Performing repetitive motions, such as wiping and scrubbing, throughout the shift.
  • Attention to detail for spotting dirt, stains, and debris and ensuring thorough cleaning.
  • Maintaining balance while moving around tight, confined spaces in the aircraft.
  • Handling cleaning chemicals and disinfectants safely, often while wearing protective equipment.
  • Working indoors and outdoors, with exposure to changing temperatures, weather, and noise from aircraft.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet flight schedules and demands.
